ID’s For Retirees
Retired UW-Madison employees (i.e., former employees eligible to receive WRS annuities) should retain their UW-Madison identification cards for access to University libraries, recreational and other facilities. Retirees who wish to continue using the facilities or IT tools should inform their department prior to their retirement date.
If needs change, and the retiree no longer requires a valid ID card, the retiree should notify their department or the Office of Human Resources (retiredID@ohr.wisc.edu or 265-2257).
If retiree is not requesting emeritus status, the department can request retirement certificates from campus at http://www.ohr.wisc.edu/retirement_certificate.htm.
